Wave TMS Spins Out Software Division
as Stand-Alone Business Unit.
Recently, the business unit formerly known as Zuum App has transitioned into its own stand-alone spin-off business unit within the Zuum Transportation parent holding group. This evolutionary step marks a new chapter for our business, which has utilized Zuum Transportation as a foundational lab for learning and development. The newly named Wave TMS, formerly Zuum App, will now focus on selling software to freight brokers, shippers, and truckers, while Zuum Transportation Inc. will continue its current operations unaffected.
Zuum has been operating since April 2016 and has grown immensely. The Chairman and Co-Founder stated, "We have utilized the transport business as a foundation and learning platform, recognizing that most TMS systems are inadequate and fail to deliver real value to operations. Having gained extensive knowledge, we are now ready to scale the business into separate units. For several years, we have provided software solutions and managed data security for our customers. This move will further enhance their confidence in selecting us as their software partner."
Matt Tabatabai, CEO of Zuum, added, "It will take some time for us to fully scale the bifurcation, but we believe this is the right step to protect our customers' interests. Current market products lack a holistic approach to true AI, automation, and intelligent insights, but we have the stack to provide the industry with what it needs. Our modules are the most comprehensive, allowing us to offer separate solutions to customers through APIs."
